Drama training rooted in craft and confidence
The Murder Mystery is a drama school based in Birmingham dedicated to training actors of all levels, from beginners finding their voice to experienced performers refining their technique. We specialise in audition coaching, acting classes, and one-to-one tuition, working with students who want to build genuine skill, not just superficial polish. Every session is designed to unlock what's already there: your instinct, your presence, your ability to inhabit a character with truth.
We believe audition technique is learnable. Most actors walk into a room and hope for the best. We teach you how to walk in prepared: how to make bold choices, respond to direction, and deliver what a casting director actually wants to see. Whether you're preparing for a specific audition, training for drama school entry, or developing as a performer, our approach is rooted in real-world casting realities and the fundamentals that never go out of style.
